What you need to bring:

The farm uses SOLAR power and Eskom as a backup, Please use power sparingly, no high-current items such as heaters, electric kettles etc!! - Wood is provided for the fireplace; additional wood can be purchased at R35 per bag.
- We also provide a small amount of firelighters, but please bring extra.
Additional information, tips & formalities
- There is a small shop in the nearest village of Tesselaarsdal, but for a supermarket, you will have to travel to Caledon (about a 20-minute drive).
- We are pet friendly so if you want to bring your pooch please keep in mind that we have free roaming chickens and geese, this can be a big temptation for most dogs!! If they chase the horses or alpacas they could get a nasty kick and in the case of the chickens or geese, the last thing anyone would want for a relaxing weekend is to have dead birds all over the place.
- Cottages are fully self-contained and only serviced for longer stays where they are serviced every 5 days.

- Water is drinkable but sometimes discoloured so you may want to bring your own drinking water.
- Low profile tyres and lowered/sports vehicles are not recommended.
- Cell phone reception varies.
- Please do not feed any of the animals as they are all on specialized diets and you may make them ill.
